Ormskirk Ukulele Club offers a welcoming environment for people to develop their ukulele skills, enjoy group singing and the fellowship of making music together with others in an informal and sociable atmosphere.
It doesn't matter what level of experience or skill you have, the only prerequisite for membership of the Club is a willingness to have fun, a desire to realise your creative urge, learn to play the ukulele, and sing along with the tunes (if you want to).
Whether you are a complete beginner or a more experienced ukulele player, all ages - both Junior and Senior members - are welcomed by the Club, as are family groups.
If you want to speak to someone about membership/joining us please contact Sue on 07834760653, who is happy to chat with you.
However for all gig enquiries/bookings please contact us via the link below or message us via our Facebook page, leaving your name, email address, contact number and a brief outline of your event - location, purpose, date, times etc and our Events Organiser will get back to you asap.
Our Performers Group is available for hire at both private functions, weddings, parties and community based events.
We meet every Thursday at Ormskirk Rugby Club, Green Lane, Ormskirk, L39 1ND, between 7.15 and 9.45pm.
Ukulele playing and singing together in a group setting has never been more popular. However it does come with a health warning- it is highly addictive. You don't even need to be able to read music to play along with us. Why not give it a go - but be warned you will get hooked!
